Sony PDW Series TruEye Processing Camcorder uses three switchable CDD for image capturing to deliver high quality images. It also has 25P progressive modes to provide a film like effect. For the great precision of the images, Sony PDW-510P XDCAM camcorder incorporates high integrity 12 bit AD converter. It also has advanced image control features that records high quality pictures to the disc. The image controls features include Multi-Matrix function, Triple Skin-Tone Detail control, Colour-temperature control, Electronic soft focus, TruEye processing and Selectable gamma table.
Sony 510P 12 Bit AD Convertor is equipped with analogue composite output that has I.LINK interface with both AVC and FAM options. You can also attach additional plug in board with which analogue composite input and SDI output can be also made available. With loop recording function 10 seconds of audio and video are buffered into the memory even before the record button is been pressed. The camcorder comes with two options in low light condition that can be used alone or together according to the situation. PDW-510P offers thumb nail search and scene selection operation.
Whenever the camcorder is power on or off, the LCD monitor displays time code, battery and disc capacity for a second. There are about four assignable buttons in which two of them are placed in the camera handle and the other two is placed inside the control panel. You can assign frequently used operations to these buttons for your convenience. According to the light changes, the auto tracing white balance adjusts the color temperature. The automatic and manual interval recording allows to record at pre determined intervals. Sony 510P XDCAM has come out with excellent features to deliver brilliant pictures.
