and home electronics has designed a very new model of camcorder. This mind blowing Sony HDR-UX1 Digital Camcorder has got a trendy look and is very compact in its sizes of (H) 89mm x (W) 76mm x (D) 165mm. Overall weight of this camcorder is only 740 grams.
Specifications
The Sony HDR-UX1 3.5” LCD Digital Camcorder has a sensor resolution of 2.1MP and an effective video resolution of 1.4Kpix. With wide screen video capture facility, it supports media types such as DVD-R (8cm), DVD-RW (8 cm), DVD+RW (8cm) and DVD+R DL (8cm). This model comes with a clear and vivid CMOS optical sensor of size 1/3″ and a minimum illumination of 5 lux. It has a digital zoom of 80x and an optical zoom of 10x.
Carl Zeiss lens of the camcorder has a focal length of 5.1 mm - 51 mm. It supports both automatic and manual focus. Lens aperture is F/1.8-2.9 and the filter size is 30 mm. With electronic image stabilizer, the maximum shutter speed is 1/500 seconds and minimum is 1/4 seconds. White balance supported is automatic and the presets supported are Auto, one-push, Indoor and outdoor.
The digital video format is MPEG-2 and the still image format supported is JPEG. Infra red remote control included helps to control the functions with in the remote area. Flash memory supported is Memory Stick PRO. Other supportive features of the camcorder include Digital Still Camera Function and Low Lux/Night Mode.
3.5” colour LCD display has 211,000 pixels and a rotating form factor. The built in microphone of this Sony digital camcorder has a surround operation mode. Connector types are Accessory shoe, USB Component video output, Headphones and Microphone, Remote control HDMI output. Expansion slot of the device is Memory Stick PRO. Cables included are A/V, USB and Component video cables.
Sony NP-FM50 battery of this camcorder has a great back up than any other models. It includes a Li-ion rechargeable battery. 1-year is the warranty period of this camcorder. To connect the headphones, the unit has a headphone jack. Recording format of the unit is DVD and the recording system is NTSC. Internal flash light helps to shoot even in a dim light.
