Samsung VPDC161 DVD Camcorder is the recently launched DVD camcorder in the market. This system has a large list of options that makes the shooting very interesting some times funny too. This has a variety of shooting mode, focusing options, resolution system. You can also use this camcorder to take still photographs like an ordinary camera. The manual focusing and manual exposure are available with this system.
Samsung VPDC161 DVD Camcorder has the optical zoom capacity of 33x whereas the digital zoom capacity is 1200x. It has a 2.5 inches LCD screen display. The total resolution of the screen is 112K pixels. This system has an image stabiliser. This system also offers you for colour night view, auto focus with manual override and macro mode options. The optical zoom ability of a camcorder is nothing but the enlargement of an image with maintaining the pixel level. And hence the enlarged picture has the same quality like which it had before enlargement. But the digital zoom offers you for higher enlargement but with out maintaining the pixel level.
The LCD screen is one of the most advanced screens. LCD is the abbreviation of Liquid Crystal Display. Here sandwiching the liquid crystals in between the two glass plates makes the display unit. The colour viewfinder is enabled with this system. This displays high quality colour image on LCD screen. More over it is easier to see what you’re shooting by the camcorder. The image stabiliser virtually eradicates Camcorder shake, without debasing the image eminence. This further employs motion sensors, and the Hyper-Precision CCD simply turns off and on the appropriate pixels every 1/60th of a second to compensate for the motion of the camera.
Night mode option is available with this Samsung DVD Camcorder. It permits you to make even closer shots even with extremely poor light conditions. This system also enables the “photo mode” option. By using the option, the camcorder can be used to take still photos just like a camera. The resolution of the CCD is 800K.
Manual exposure can be used in this system. This facility recommends a setting that is then made by the photographer by selecting aperture and shutter speeds manually. Manual focusing option too is available with the Samsung Camcorder. This is highly essential for situations when the auto focus cannot manage such as shooting through a window. The colour of this camcorder is silver.
