JVC introduces GC-FM1 Picsio full HD digital camcorder in Japan, which boasts of high video quality. It is similar to Flip HD and Kodak Zi8.
In addition to 8 mega pixels CMOS sensor, JVC GC-FM1 full HD Pocket Camcorder features a 2 inches LCD display, a You tube compatible recording mode, an HDMI output, a composite video output and a USB 2.0 connector. It records video in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format and is supported with an SD/SDHC memory card. It records video in a full HD resolution of 1080p. This pocket camcorder has a dimension of 97mm (length) X 53mm (width) X 17mm (thickness) and weighs 95 grams.
JVC GC-FM1 Picsio 8mp Compact Camcorder is available by the end of September in Japan and has been priced at 20,000 Yen. No much information is known on its availability in other markets.
