JVC GZMC500 Hard Drive Camcorder

JVC GZMC500 hard drive camcorder is the newly introduced camcorder in the market. The special features in this model are improved resolution, imageJVC-GZMC500 JVC GZMC500 Hard Drive Camcorder quality, larger LCD panel, good optical zooming, 3 CCD system, good lux values, increased MPEG resolution, 3 types of memory card, etc.   

JVC GZMC500 camcorder has the recording system as NTSC / PAL.  In that NTSC is the format used by American colour television broadcast whereas the PAL camcorders are not compatible with USA NTSC TVs. The system has the CCD quality as 3. The memory still resolution of this camcorder is 4.92 mega pixels. The optical zoom capability of the JVC hard drive camcorder is 10 x. almost in all the camcorders, there are two types of zoom available namely, optical and digital, optical zoom is far more important. Optical zoom uses the camcorder’s lens to magnify part of the image without losing any image quality. Digital zoom also enlarges images, but loses some of the image quality.

The CCD size of this camcorder is 1/ 4.5 inches. The CCD resolution is 1330 K pixels. A CCD (charge coupled device) records images by breaking them down into pixels of information. The more pixels a CCD have the greater detail the images will have. The display type used in JVC GZMC500 hard drive camcorder is LCD panel. (Liquid Crystal Display) the LCD panel size is 1.8 inches. The LCD screen is measured diagonally in inches. A larger LCD panel is desirable for easier recording as well as better viewing when you play back your videos on the camera.

 The digital zoom capability of this camcorder is 200x. The focal length of the lens lies in the range of 3.2 – 32 mm. The filter has the diameter as 37 mm. The recording speed method employed in this system is SP. This is the basic speed, and it amplifies by means of LP and EP. A slower speed does not generate appalling picture quality; on the other hand, using a slower speed can limit certain editing options at some stage in playback.
 
JVC hard drive camcorder has an Image stabilizer. The low lux value of this system is 18 lux. The minimum light requirements for recording are measured in lux. Lux ratings can range from .3 to 7. The audio format used in this camcorder is 12/16-bit PCM Digital stereotype audio. The memory card type used in this system is SD type. And it also includes compact Flash type II, IBM Micro drive too. It has the digital still shot mode to capture digital videos too. The maximum still image size is 2560 x 1920 and the MPEG movie mode resolution is 352 x 288 and 1280 x 720 pixels.
