Vivitar has once more showed their talent in manufacturing electronic equipments by launching their latest model of digital camcorder. The new and advanced camcorder is the Vivitar DVR-530 Digital Camcorder.

About the product

Vivitar DVR-530 5 MP Digital Camcorder comes with a camcorder sensor resolution of 5.0 mega pixel. It supports CMOS optical sensors. The shooting mode of this unit is Digital photo mode. The device supports both automatic and manual exposure modes and the exposure compensation of this unit is ±1.8 EV range in 1/3 EV steps. It is equipped with automatic white balance. Tungsten light, daylight, shade, fluorescent light (cool white), fluorescent light (warm white) are the white balance presets supported by the unit. The digital video format supported by the device is MPEG-4, and the still image format is JPEG.

Vivitar DVR-530 Digital Video Recorder can be used as your web cam by connecting this to your PC. The images are captured and saved as JPEG files and the supported resolution are 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960 and 640 x 480 pixels. This device comes with a flash memory of 32 MB and the supported flash memory is Multi Media Card and SD Memory Card.

Vivitar DVR-530 Digital Video Camcorder has a built in flash and the flash modes includes auto mode flash OFF mode and red-eye reduction. The lens used in this unit is f/3.5 and it has manual focus adjustment too. The minimum focus range supported is 60cm. It has an aperture of F/3.5. The self time delay function has two time settings of 10seconds and 3 seconds.

Vivitar DVR-530 Digital Camcorder has an LCD display of Low Temperature Poly-Silicon (LTPS) technology. This colour display has a size of 2.5". This rotating display supports 230000 pixels. This camcorder can also be used as a Digital player/voice recorder and the supported digital audio standard is MP3.

Vivitar DVR-410 Digital Camcorder

Vivitar has launched a great looking digital camcorder named as Vivitar DVR-410 Digital Camcorder . Capturing high quality pictures and movies is made possible with this digital camcorder. This digital camcorder supports USB connectivity but not Wi-Fi connectivity. It uses a CCD optical sensor in it. It has a great shape and it can be operated easily. The camera resolutions are 1728 x 2320 pixels. The maximum resolution supported by this camera is 4 MP. There are optical and digital zoom options supported by this unit. The digital zoom ratio is 8x and the optical zoom ratio is 1x.

This device weighs 160 grams and is 11 cm in height, 5.5 cm deep and 3 cm wide. It has a 2 inch LCD monitor which allows you to view the images to be captured clearly. The system is made with a built in flash type and provides 4 automatic flash modes. It also features automatic and manual white balance with presets for day light. The LCD monitor integrated in the device is the range finder type. This camcorder has an internal and external memory. It has a 16 MB internal memory capacity. There is provision for movie and voice recording too. The mini secure digital card offers supported flash memory but does not offer secure digital high capacity card.

Camera specific power packs battery model is used and the battery is of lithium Ion. This device supports a rotating display and has a colour view finder. This system does not include smart media card, Trans flash card or an XD card

The self timer is an added feature by which you can time 3 and 10 seconds. Still image format is JPEG and involves advanced ASF video and audio speaker. The PC requirements of this device are Windows Me/2000/XP USB port and Windows Media Player 9.0 or 10. Vivitar DVR-410 Digital Video Camcorder does not have PC card and PictBridge compatibility. It supports ports such as USB port, DC in and Video out port. Apart from all these there is an MP3 playback option too. Power 2 AA Alkaline Batteries comes along with the camcorder.

However this does not support auto focus, Bluetooth, CD-R/CD-RW and compact flash card. Image stabilizer, memory stick/memory stick pro, memory stick duo/duo pro, micro drive and multimedia card/reduced multimedia card are also absent. The lens fitted inside cannot be changed. Still this camcorder excels in its performance.

Vivitar DVR7300X Digital Camcorder

Vivitar a prominent company in the UK has launched their camcorder named Vivitar DVR7300X Digital Camcorder. The boxed product weight of this is only 165 grams and you can take it any where you like.

The new model of camcorder has an image sensor resolution of 7.0 mega pixel and it uses the CCD sensor technology. Zoom function is one of the important functions of a camcorders and this model has an optical zoom of 3x and a digital zoom of 4x with which you can zoom distant objects. The device supports movie Record, Picture Record, Voice Record, MP3 Player, PC Camera, and Mass Storage Device. The image resolution supported by this device is 3744 x 2808 pixels and in standard mode it is 3072 x 2304 pixels. Vivitar DVR7300X 7 MP Digital Camcorder has auto and manual white balance. It also supports manual and auto exposure modes. Playable image format supported by the unit is Single Image, Thumbnails and Slide show. File format supported are JPEG, AVI, WAV and MP3. The interfaces supported are Mini USB2.0, TV Out and Earphone. The TV output of this camcorder is NTSC and PAL.

Vivitar DVR7300X Digital Video Recorder supports Microsoft Windows 98ME/2000/XP/Vista. The still image format of this camcorder is JPEG and the minimum still image resolution is 720 x 480 pixels. The lens aperture of this unit is F/3.0 and the minimum focal length is 6mm and the maximum is 15.8mm. This device has a 64MB internal memory and it also supports SD memory card slot. It supports digital image stabiliser.

Vivitar DVR7300X Camcorder supports self timer delay option and it has a self timer delay of 10seconds. The LCD monitor of this camcorder is a 2.5” display with TFT technology.
