There is an effective video resolution of 1.56 mega pixels and a still resolution of 2 mega pixels. The audio input is built-in microphone with a stereo operation mode.
The storage media type is Mini DV(HDV) and the flash memory is 16MB.There is also an infra red remote control, which eases the control of camcorder while mounted on a tripod.
