Technicalities
The camera has a dimension of 86 x 72 x 36 mm and with a resolution of 11/5/3/1 Mega-pixel. Inbuilt with a 5 mega-pixel CMOS sensor and MPEG 4 (720 x 480) video recording you get outstanding coverage and high quality pictures. The device is compatible with a maximum of 2GB SD or MMC card slot. Videos can be taken at a speed of up to 30 fps at a D1 resolution of 720 x 480 pixels, VGA resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a QVGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
The focus range is calculated as 50cm and the Aperture range as F3.2. The digital zoom is capable of 4x. There are other provisions like auto flash for still picture it can be in on or off modes and similarly LED light for Video Recording that can be automatic or on or off. The device adjusts to white balance like in Sunny, Cloudy, Fluorescent, and Tungsten. The minimum system requirements needed for this unit is Operation System 2000/XP or above, CPU Pentium 1.5 GHz or above, RAM 256MB or above, Video Card 128MB or above.
Other features
The built in microphone and the internal speaker gives great out put. The device can be connected to TV for viewing as it supports NTSC or PAL. Self timer of 10 seconds allows operation of the device by itself. The device works on 2 AA Alkaline Batteries.
